This week, your child will delve into the world of sight words and phrases. Through a series of expert-led interactive sessions, and depending on their level, they will learn to identify sight words, phrases and read sentences.
Week – 2
Vocabulary Planet
Here, DL offers tips on expanding your child’s vocabulary. With evident stress on homophones, synonyms and antonyms, they will understand sentences and paragraphs. Short story aids and exercises relating to language will enhance their comprehension.
Week – 3
Spelling Planet
In week 3, the focus is on decoding sound units, vowels, blends, and diagraphs. In time, the child will recognize the influence of sounds on spelling patterns and write confidently.
Week – 4
Paraphrasing Planet
It is time for your child to apply their learning and build on their proofreading, punctuation, ability to form sentences & short paragraphs. There is great emphasis on sequencing, order, developing analogies, finding differences and working on cognitive development.
